Take In and Put Out
Sometimes when you are driving your car; you can see the scenery, this is take in an image. Not spending to much time doing it in your car, you can take in images that you like and then express them in your accidental brush strokes painting. You may recognize scenes from your life in your accidental brush strokes image. This part of your life you tell your story about. The story that guides the eye to the image in your painting.
Music at the park.
Pay attention to your driving in your car, but go to the park and sit down and look at the park. One whole painting may come from a day at the park. If you like what you see you should be able to get it into your painting. Spend hours on it. A trip to the park is something fun, not mowing the lawn.
A park pool may show up in your painting. Maybe birds or fish will be in your painting. Juxtaposed with park grass or the parking lot, a days worth of take in images can be put out in one painting. If you only get one image, try again. It could take years of painting classes to paint a whole picture. I have had 14 years of painting class in school.
Fish in the pool.
Learning traditional painting is a part of accidental brush strokes painting. This helps you know how to take care of brushes, paper, paints, and choices of media. You don't have to do anything special, just take a school class or a class with the parks and recreation department. Some experience might be helpful with starting accidental brush strokes painting.
Once you have mastered painting you can paint with accidental brush strokes more effectively. You won't miss the abstract picture, because you recognize your traditional picture. Your picture could look traditional with some abstract parts. First know how to paint; read a book from the library, a bookstore, or from a Christmas present. Second forget how to paint and just put the colors on the canvas to find a picture.
Piano playing.
Your accidental picture says something about your day of fun at the park. Fun days can be remembered hanging on the wall. How does it work? Who knows, but it is fun to do. I have fun; outside of the house, painting, looking for pictures, and telling the story.
