Painting to Start With

2 mins

Sadness and Mourning

Painting can be easy. Color choices, brush sizes, and canvas or paper to fill up. It may seem daunting, but it is all an easy process. The brightest color, the medium brush, a small canvas and you are ready to start. Get your water jars, blot with paper towels prepared for it and get going.

The rose.

One way to paint is to prime the canvas. A light paint, with a lot of water mixed with your acrylic paints first. Random color spots on the canvas make a picture. Don't build on this, just keep going. Appling the paint to the canvas abstractly.

The seahorse.

My style is accidental brush strokes make a painting. It could take time to find one, mine happened right away. I have been using it ever since. No on purpose brush strokes, just putting the paint on the canvas. Acrylic dries fast so you can put on a lot of layers to find a picture.

The picture should say something about you. Your life's experience will come out in your painting. Pick colors you like, blend to make new colors, on the palette or on the canvas. And the painting starts. Light colors until you have the canvas filled up. These colors can give your painting direction or your next picture might not resemble it at all.

The angel wing.

What you keep should be attention grabbing. Tell your story with your painting about your life experience. Something happy, something jovial. A pleasant day at the park maybe. You can hang it on your wall and you will always be the famous artist. If you like it, you could paint more.

Some simple brushes, paints, and canvas. Not too expensive if you buy small. Wash the brushes and pour out the jars. Let the canvas dry good. Try again.

Sad for no complete picture.
